Discover what’s new across the ProctorU Platform, Guardian Browser, and Meazure Exam Platform. Recent updates include expanding integration and exam management capabilities, enhancing the test-taker experience, and providing new reporting options for deeper performance insights.

PROCTORU ONLINE PROCTORING PLATFORM

Archimedes v 25.12.0

Integration (Webhook, API, LMS)

  • LTI 1.3 Exams Flight Path Configuration: When exams are created through the LTI 1.3 integration with an LMS, they now automatically use the institution’s proctoring “flight path” settings. This means that any custom proctoring configurations the institution has set will be applied to those exams by default.
  • Direct Edit Exam Link for Canvas LMS: In the Canvas LMS Wizard, the “edit exam” link now opens the Canvas quiz page directly. This lets instructors quickly update or add missing information without navigating to other pages manually.

GUARDIAN BROWSER

Guardian Browser v 3.0.0

Test-Taker Experience

  • Seamless Survey Transition: If a post-exam survey is enabled, the system now stops the exam session recording as soon as the test-taker leaves the exam and starts the survey. This way, the test-taker goes straight into giving feedback without any interruption or extra steps.

GUARDIAN EXTENSION

Guardian Extension v 0.33.0

Test-Taker Experience

  • Automatic Survey Prompt: Test-takers now receive the post-exam survey immediately when their Guardian Extension session ends. This supports increased feedback from participants, which allows clients to gain deeper insights into their test-takers' experience.

MEAZURE EXAM PLATFORM

Exam Administration

  • Unproctored Exams Administration Alignment: Unproctored exams are now matched to administrations only if the delivery window name contains the exam title, enabling effective grouping of exam sessions.
  • Brand Update for Administrator and Proctor Portals: The Meazure Exam Platform Administrator and Proctor Portals have been updated to reflect Meazure Learning’s current branding. These updates ensure a consistent brand experience for administrators, test-takers, and proctors.

Exam Development

  • Shuffle Distractor Import Option: Administrators can now set or update the “shuffle distractor” setting directly within question imports, allowing them to control answer randomization more efficiently during bulk uploads.
  • Time Between Attempts in Cloned Exams: Cloned exams now retain the original time-between-attempts value so that scheduling limits remain consistent.
  • Exam Review Setting in Cloned Exams: The “in review” status for cloned exams is now set according to the Exam Review feature flag, so that new exams automatically follow the intended review process—enabled when the feature is active and disabled when it is not—without requiring manual changes.
  • Pre-Exam Panels Included in Cloned Exams: All pre-exam panel content—including dialogues and navigation logic—is now included automatically for cloned exams. This allows administrators to maintain consistency and accuracy across different exams.

Integration (Webhook, API)

  • Expanded Booking Webhook Data: The Booking webhook now sends start and end date/time fields for all exams, no matter the delivery method. This makes it easier for clients to track and manage bookings consistently—whether the exam is at a Meazure Learning test center or remotely proctored.

Reporting

  • Bulk Rescore Administration Association: Bulk-rescored exams are now linked to the original administration, so that all associated rules—including hold results—are applied consistently, ensuring that rescored results are released only according to the original administration’s schedule.
  • Raw Metrics Export Distractor Columns: Two new columns in the Raw Metrics Export, from User Exam Details, show the selected answer and its display position. This ensures clients can analyze responses even when distractors are shuffled.
  • Exam Modality Filter: A new proctoring filter allows users to view report data by specific proctoring modality—Venue, the Meazure Learning Test Center Network, Remote, or N/A—so that they can easily analyze results for a single delivery type or compare performance across modalities. The N/A category includes unproctored exams and exams that are proctored without a booking.
  • Exam Notes Descriptors: The Exam Notes report now displays text from the notes, replacing HTML tags and providing a clear description.
  • Proficiency Scores in Exam History Report: Improving upon the new functionality for competency area information, the Exam History report now includes the proficiency level and proficiency score for the Total Score (exam-level) and Formula-based scoring methods.

Test-Taker Experience

  • Essay Keystroke Display: Keystrokes in essay fields are now captured significantly faster due to background optimizations. This ensures test-takers can write responses smoothly and make the most of their time.
  • Distractor Annotation Visibility: Annotations on distractors remain in place after a page refresh, so that candidates keep their notes visible throughout the exam.
  • Take-it-Now Launch Button: When the “exam available in” countdown ends, test-takers now see a launch button without leaving the Appointment Details page. This update ensures a faster and more streamlined start process for test-takers.
  • Open Grant Navigation: When assigned open grant exams, test-takers can now proceed through multi-page pre-exam panels so that they can proceed smoothly to their test without repeated prompts.
