The release intended for 12/16/25 has been rescheduled and is now set to take place on 1/12/26.
Discover what’s new across the ProctorU Platform. This release introduces several enhancements designed to improve both the test-taker and administrator experience. Test-takers will benefit from frictionless exam interactions, smoother reconnection behavior, and better visibility into upcoming sessions. Administrators gain from improved reporting, automated workflow state updates for incomplete and no-show exams, and enhanced form distribution controls.
PROCTORU ONLINE PROCTORING PLATFORM
Scheduling
- Focused Appointment View in My Sessions Page: We made an update to the My Sessions page to provide the test taker with a cleaner view of a test-taker's upcoming session. Voided and canceled reservations are now excluded from the Scheduled Appointments section, ensuring that test-takers see only active and actionable sessions. This enhancement aims to help test-takers focus on the sessions that matter.
GUARDIAN BROWSER
Guardian Browser 3.7.0
- Operating System Level Spellcheck Disabled During Exams: We have added new functionality in the Guardian Browser to disable Operating System (OS)-level spellcheck underlines. Misspelled words will no longer be highlighted by the operating system, ensuring test-takers do not receive inadvertent assistance during exams. This enhancement is applied automatically to all sessions.
- Streamlined Pre-Check for Reconnecting Test-Takers: We improved the pre-check workflow for Integrated Chat customers by removing the Integrated Chat instruction step when test-takers reconnect. This enhancement simplifies and speeds up the reconnection process.
- Guardian Extension Support Update: We’ve updated the Guardian Extension to prevent unsupported browsers, now including Brave and Comet, in addition to Edge and Opera.
MEAZURE EXAM PLATFORM
Test-taker Experience
- Tab Key Support in Exam UI v2 Text Editor: We have enhanced the Meazure Exam Platform text editor to support the Tab key for indenting and outdenting. Test-takers can now use the standard keyboard shortcut to format text easily.
Administrator Experience
- New Language Availability Setting for Exams: Language Availability Setting is now available! This exam-level setting allows test administrators to indicate which languages are available for specific exams. This setting is useful for test programs that offer exams in many languages but also have some exams available only in specific languages. Introducing this setting streamlines the exam shell configuration by removing languages that are not supported for the exam.
- Automatic Workflow State Changes for OLP Exams: We are excited to release Automatic Workflow State Changes for OLP exams in the Meazure Exam Platform. This enhancement introduces two new states: Incomplete and No-Show, helping ensure exams are always left in a clear, terminal state.
- No-Show: Exams are automatically marked as No-Show when candidates fail to start their sessions within the designated launch window, preventing late launches.
- Incomplete: Exams are automatically marked as Incomplete when they are launched but not completed by the test-taker, aligning with the Proctoring Platform’s Incomplete status.
These updates reduce administrative intervention, ensure exams do not remain in an “Active” state, and are particularly valuable for programs that restrict candidates to a single booked or active attempt per exam. The new states are also reflected in the Booking History Report, providing administrators with better visibility.
- New “Repeat Distribution of Forms” Exam Shell Setting: We have introduced a Repeat Distribution of Forms setting in the exam shell, giving test programs greater control over form assignment. This configurable option allows administrators to determine whether test-takers can see forms they have previously encountered. When enabled, the system follows standard form distribution logic, cycling through previously seen forms to ensure candidates always receive a form. When disabled, Candidates cannot launch an exam if no unseen forms are available, preventing duplicate forms during testing. This enhancement provides flexibility to maintain exam integrity while accommodating different testing requirements.
