PROCTORU ONLINE PROCTORING PLATFORM
Archimedes 25.10.0
Scheduling
- Improved Exam Rescheduling Logic: We updated rescheduling behavior for the Bluebird API workflow. Now, if a test-taker starts to reschedule a reservation but does not complete the process, the original appointment remains scheduled and accessible. This ensures test-takers avoid unintended cancellations and can confidently manage their appointments without losing their original reservation.
GUARDIAN BROWSER
Guardian Browser 2.50
Test-Taker Experience
- Audio Device Selection: We improved the audio input device selection during exams so that test-takers can easily switch audio devices and maintain clear communication with the proctor throughout their session.
GUARDIAN EXTENSION
Guardian Extension 0.31.0
Test-Taker Experience
- Exam Tab Controls: To support an uninterrupted and more consistent testing experience, we enhanced exam handling when test-takers move the exam tab into a new browser window. They’ll now receive a helpful reminder to keep all exam content within the main browser window, and the system will automatically pull the tab back in.
MEAZURE EXAM PLATFORM
Exam Administration
- Manage Exam History Access: We improved exam history access settings so that when testing programs disable “See Exam History” at the site level, test-takers are redirected and shown a clear message if they try to access the link directly. This helps program owners maintain site-specific control over exam information.
Exam Development
- Form Management—Bulk Import: We enhanced the exam form importer to support the importation of hundreds of forms at once (with a recommended limit of 1,000 forms). The exam form importer now queues multiple import requests and displays total form counts and preview details. This allows administrators to manage large-scale imports more efficiently, eliminating the need to wait between uploads and saving time by improving workflow efficiency.
- Rescoring Language Consistency: The rescoring functionality has been updated to ensure that the exam language always matches the original language used by a test-taker, providing a consistent experience when reviewing rescored exams.
Scheduling
- Test Center Search Distance Units: For programs using the Delivery Window workflow, the ability for test-takers to choose between miles and kilometers when searching for test center locations has been added. This allows for distances to be displayed in the preferred unit, making it easier to find the most convenient testing location.
Test-Taker Experience
- Highlight and Strikethrough of Distractors: We added the ability for test-takers using the new exam UI to copy and strikethrough distractor (option) text in multiple choice and multiple select items. This allows test-takers to visually mark and organize their thinking during the exam, supporting better focus and decision-making. Distractor text can only be copied when the copy setting is enabled at the exam level.
- Highlight Selection Differentiation: The annotation panel has been updated so that the highlight cards show the same color the test-taker used in the exam text. This allows test-takers to more easily navigate their highlights and quickly identify key information using color cues, supporting those who rely on visual aids for better focus and organization.
- Show/Hide Notepad Formatting Options: A button has been added to notepads as part of the improved rich text features, enabling test-takers to hide or show formatting options. They can maximize screen space—especially on smaller devices or when using multiple tools—and still use formatting via keyboard shortcuts for a more comfortable and efficient exam experience.
- Triple-Click Paragraph Selection: We introduced a triple-click shortcut as part of our improved rich text features so that test-takers can quickly select all text in a paragraph to highlight or annotate large sections more easily, saving time and reducing effort when working with exam content.
- Multi-Paragraph Annotations: The rich text capabilities have been enhanced so test-takers can now highlight and mark up content across multiple paragraphs or different types of formatted text in a single action. This improves their ability to better organize their thoughts and capture key information more seamlessly during exams.
