PROCTORU ONLINE PROCTORING PLATFORM
Archimedes 26.0.0
Integration (Webhook, API, LMS)
- LTI 1.3 Enhancements: We've introduced several enhancements to our LTI 1.3 integration to provide greater flexibility and streamline exam administration. These updates simplify exam setup, support alignment of exam settings and resources across integrated systems, providing new institution-level configuration options. Customers interested in taking advantage of these enhancements should contact their Customer Success Manager to review and enable the new LTI 1.3 experience.
Test-Taker Experience
- Estimated Exam Costs in Local Currency: Test-takers whose exam fees are charged in U.S. dollars can now view an estimated exam cost in supported local currencies (CAD, AUD, EUR, JPY, and INR) directly within their shopping cart within the ProctorU Platform. By displaying an estimated converted total alongside the U.S. dollar price, this enhancement helps international test-takers better understand exam costs in their preferred currency before checkout. Exam fees will continue to be charged and processed in U.S. dollars.
Administrator Experience
- Institution Observer Without Media Access Role: A new “Institution Observer Without Media Access” role has been added to the ProctorU Platform. Based on the current Observer role, the new role allows Administrators to grant users access to session information and reports while restricting access to session recordings, which provides greater flexibility when managing user permissions.
- Institution Outcomes Available to Instructor-Level Users: In April, we provided Administrators the ability to track institutional investigation outcomes directly within incident reports. This functionality is now available to Instructors who have been authorized to document and manage institutional decisions without requiring Institution Administrator support.
Scheduling
- Hide Exams from Scheduling During Configuration: Users with the Institution Administrator and Instructor roles can now mark exams as “Hidden from Scheduling” directly within the exam configuration workflow. This enhancement gives Administrators greater control over exam availability by preventing test-takers from scheduling exams before they are ready to be offered. When the exam is ready to be made available, Administrators can simply uncheck the “Hidden from Scheduling” box to remove the setting and allow test-takers to begin scheduling.
- Enhanced Scheduling Support for Institution-Pay Enrollments: Institution Administrators can now schedule a session on behalf of the test-taker enrolled through supported API and LMS/CMS integrations when using Institution Pay. This enhancement enables Administrators to assist test- takers with scheduling while providing a more streamlined and consistent registration experience.
GUARDIAN BROWSER
Guardian Browser 3.15.0
- Faster Guardian Browser Updates: Guardian Browser updates have been optimized to reduce the amount of data required for each update. This results in software updates being completed more quickly, allowing test-takers to get into their exams faster.
PROCTORU PLATFORM MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
The 2026 Maintenance Schedule is now available. We perform monthly maintenance on the ProctorU Platform, using the time to implement vital performance and stability updates. During the scheduled windows, the platform will be completely offline, meaning no one will be able to log in. You can review the maintenance schedule in our support center at any time.
Third-Party Maintenance (LMI Provider): Our third-party provider, LMI, performs regular maintenance to support platform performance and stability. During scheduled maintenance windows, the platform may be temporarily unavailable, and users will be unable to log in. Test programs and administrators can plan by reviewing the maintenance schedule by accessing the support center, helping minimize disruptions to testing operations.
