PROCTORU ONLINE PROCTORING PLATFORM
Test-Taker Experience
- Improved Enrollment Forms with Additional Field Support: We have enhanced our user profile and admin edit forms to ensure that all required Additional Enrollment Fields are properly displayed and validated when users add or update their institutional enrollment. This update enables both new and existing users to manage their enrollments more efficiently, resulting in accurate account information throughout the system.
- Seamless Precheck Photo and ID Display: We have improved the precheck process to ensure that both photo and ID captures are displayed consistently in the correct 16:9 aspect ratio. This update prevents images from appearing stretched during the pre-check phase, resulting in a smoother, more reliable experience across all exam types.
Scheduling
- Optimized Enrollment Management for Scheduled Sessions: We have enhanced our enrollment system to ensure consistency between test-taker registrations and their scheduled sessions. Test-takers with active reservations can no longer remove their enrollments, which streamlines the scheduling process. Additionally, we have added clearer messaging to explain when and why the "Remove Enrollment" option is unavailable. Doing so will assist both administrators and test-takers in understanding this restriction and maintaining accurate enrollment records.
Video Stream
- New Slower Playback Speeds for Video Review: We added new slower playback options for the video player, allowing Admins and Instructors to review video recordings at speeds of 0.5x and 0.1x. Users can access the new playback speeds on the Reservation page. The default playback speed remains at 1x, providing users with more control over video reviews and making it easier to examine sessions, as needed.
Integration (Webhook, API, LMS)
- Enhanced Student Enrollment Accuracy for Canvas (LTI 1.3): We enhanced our Canvas LTI integration to ensure that student enrollment data reflects unique students, even when they’re enrolled in multiple sections of the same course. This improvement provides more accurate enrollment counts and better alignment with Canvas data.
GUARDIAN BROWSER
Guardian Browser 3.5.0
- Simpler New Tab Experience on Mac: We have updated the new tab functionality in Guardian Browser on Mac devices to ensure that the address bar displays correctly. With this change, users on Mac M1 and Mac Intel will no longer see the file path when opening a new tab. This enhancement offers a more intuitive browsing experience.
